ProExam Write

ProExam is a not-for-profit organisation providing assessment and advisory services to organisations and institutions issuing credentials across a wide range of industries and occupations. ProExam needed a new online tool to support test question (item) development.
ProExam Write is an online item writing tool. It allows ProExam and their clients to collaborate on the creation of new exam questions.
ProExam had been using a simple internal tool to support staff in collecting new items that had been created offline, but had been finding it too limited to support evolving customer requirements.
I led the creation of a new, modern online tool allowing ProExam staff, their clients, and industry domain experts to collaborate in real time using a customisable workflow.
We launched ProExam Write in 2012 to great success. It allowed a level of collaboration and quality control not previously seen.
The quality and quantity of items produced in each item writing drive increased significantly.
Meetings could be held remotely delivering significant cost savings to clients.
Designing ProExam Write as a SaaS product allowed ProExam to sign clients previously deemed too small to be cost effective. It also allowed ProExam to retain clients who relished the control and autonomy the tool now gave them.
